M&S Reg Saver Matured

My first M&S regular savings account matured today and I expected to see the balance + interest in my current account, but the savings account has gone from my online account and the money isn't showing.   Can't get through to any of the customer service numbers (0345 600 5860 / 0345 9000 900) - they either don't ring, or ring twice and then cut off.

I've only ever had First Direct regular savings accounts up until now and the transfers have always happened on the day of maturity...maybe M&S takes a couple of days to show.

Not being able to get through to customers services is annoying...

Anyone else experienced a delay?

    It is normal for M&S, HSBC and FD that your matured account and its balance vanish. Your maturity notice letter will have explained this. The money will appear shortly, perhaps even over the weekend.

    You might be able to open a new M&S RS straight away now, as both HSBC and FD  allow this now, and they are from the same stable.
