The OP is just a kid and probably looks up to people like MarzBar on YouTube.
Everyone would like an M2 Competition but blowing all my wages on one would be financial suicide.0 -
I have never heard of an M2 Competition. How can I want something that I have never heard of?0

I remember meeting a work colleague that I used to see every Sunday at the golf club. "Not seen you for a while". "No I work every Sunday". Then we got onto cars. He had changed his from something like an M2 to an M2C. We worked out he had worked every Sunday for 2 years just to do that. I was trying to stop myself giggling but he realised how silly it sounded. It's up to him though. If that's what he wants to do.0

Just to throw in a couple of random thoughts.
When you are 26 your life can change very fast ie married when that wasn't even on the horizon, kids, bigger house etc
Also we are in a very dangerous time and I would advise a little caution and with a bit of patience you might pick up a real bargain.
What about a change of direction scale back on the road car and get a wee race car and really enjoy yourself at weekends?
Whatever you do research, research and research and run a decent spreadsheet with all the options and then you will know a good deal when you see it. Also broaden your shortlist to include some off the wall selections.

My colleague worked every Sunday for 2 years to change his car for the same one with a slightly faster engine. I think it was something like the Z4 to the M4. He paid to jump the queue and the car was more expensive. I really have no interest in these cars.0

M4
Z4
...or is it the other way round? Who can possibly tell? They're so similar, bar the colour.1 -

Can we stop playing let's guess what the OP is now? Thankfully I don't blow all my wages on an M2C not even 15% though that would be financial suicide.1
