Bottled water has high sodium levels which is not recommended for babies. Apparently Buxton Water has lower levels, however as previously stated bottled water is not recommended.0

Tap water is much much safer than bottled water. The government regulations on mains water are actually far stricter and far more stringent than the regulation required for bottled water. Unless of course you're talking about outside the UK."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

No, I didn't either until we went abroad earlier this year with our then 6 month old, and intended to give him boiled bottled water for his bottles, I phoned Aptimil helpline and they gave me a sodium level to look for on the bottles which is safe for youngsters.never knew you couldnt give a baby bottled water.0 -
My mum, who is having chemo at the moment, was advised by her nurse to drink lots of water but *not* bottled water. Apparently apart from the sodium levels, the water in the bottles can be months old by the time you drink it.
She recommended filtered tap water, chilled in the fridge. I got my mum a Brita filter for £14, I've seen them as cheap as £8 in catalogue discount stores. Much cheaper than bottled water and the whole family can use it too

As a one off "emergency" I think you have absolutely nothing to be worried about

I believe it is not safe to use all of the time, but when we went to Spain and there was no choice we were told to check the sodium levels on different bottles, as they vary quite a lot between brands.0

This doesn't really help with your bottled water query but I found this (click on the first question it shows you) on the Brita website which is quite interesting. :-)Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0
