Emma Mattress Returns

I am really struggling to return my Emma mattress under the 200 night ‘no quibble’ sleep guarantee. Has anyone returned an Emma mattress and offer advise?

Please explain the troubles you're having, is it simply because of the current CV19 situation we're all in?
  • I requested a return and after sending details including photos was told a courier would be in touch to arrange collection. I have not had contact so chased it up with Emma by email and was told the courier cannot collect so I should give the mattress away?!

Rather than reply I have sent an new email request via the Emma website and sent a request via Messenger too. So far no resolution.

Yes no problem followed the instruction given .
Booked delivery  one week later .
Refund 100% about two weeks after that .
But that was last year   No Covid no shortage of drivers no priority etc .

Is that in writing? (Email is OK).

    Why are you returning it?

Why does it matter? They're wanting to exercise their right under the 200 night, no quibble guarantee, I presume they just want it out of their house.

Unfortunately a lot of couriers are delivering but not collecting - I imagine this is the problem.
Either dispose of it yourself or wait for things to return to 'normal' are the only choices really.

I was intrigued.  I see ads for these mattresses all the time and wondered what the OP didn't like.  Sorry, I won't ask any off-topic questions in future.

Decent mattress but like all the adverts circa £350 a go they are about the same as £150 Ikea mattress in value .
  • I have found the mattress too firm and decided to return it whilst I had the trial. It's very hard to contact Emma and get a personal response, no phone number only email or social media. They have replied today via Messenger and said they will chase up the courier but at this point I hadn't even provided order details. Now no further communication? They also have not acknowledged my query on the charity shop suggestion (which they advised by email).
