Collective Redundancy Questions

Hi,
I am currently on furlough leave along with most of the company staff. Today via video call all employees were told that there will be a restructure and everyone is at risk of redundancy. As there are more then 20 staff being made redundant the company has started the collective redundancy process as of today. We have all been asked to choose if we want an employee representative to represent us which will then lead onto an election process to choose the representatives. I have two main questions:
1. If I choose not to have an employee representative and the majority of staff decide to have an employee representative does this mean that representative will represent me too in the initial consultations as the majority of people may select to have an employee representative or is it a case of only the people who decide to have a representative will be represented by the chosen employee?
2. The HR manager going through the redundancy presentation slides on the video call went through the slides pretty quickly and I was finding it hard to keep up whilst trying to process the information in my head. The slides contained information such as proposed changes, structural staff chart etc. There was no opportunity for a Q&A at the end. Am I within my rights to ask for a copy of the presentation slides HR went through so I can read them again and digest the information?
Any help would be much appreciated!

The employee representative are required to represent the interests all affected employees, so they should represent everybody, although not sure why you would not want one if so many are effected.
I would ask for the slides, quite surprised they did not send them as would be fairly obviously during a video call you would not be able to see them all fully.
