Was it enough of a role that would have kept you fully employed forvyour amount of contracted hours.

The postion no longer needs to exist. Not that the work no longer needs doing. So they can move the work around to others.
  • So they can give my roles to other members of staff they have stated we have lost clients which they haven’t demonstrated when I challenged them also they state new computer system has taken some of my role which it hasn’t

How long have you worked there? Under 2 years and they can get rid of you for almost any, non-discriminatory reason

If they’ve not hired any additional staff and your work duties have been split between existing staff then that’s pretty much a textbook case of a role no longer being required.

If they have lost clients or not is not relevant. If they employ somebody extra to do your job then you have a case of unfair dismissal. But it sounds like to me all they have done is a reduction in staff, have they done it fairly? .
