We used to have a separate bills account but ended up moving to Monzo purely because of the bills pot. It's great! It tells you how many more bills are due to come out of the pot and how much money you'll need to cover them, and it also sends you a notification if one of your regular bills is going to be more expensive than it expected. Really useful. Hope you enjoy Monzo!
It is handy, at the minute I'm really enjoying it and think I'll continue to do so in the future for sure!!

I've been abit quiet as there's not been much to report, just plodding along until payday, and anxiously awaiting my payslip 🙈 I hate being on Furlough and not knowing what the figure will be....

I have been enjoying doing surveys and have £20.25 in valued opinions so will be nice cashing that out for vouchers towards Christmas 😁

    Happy end of the month!

The last day of the month is payday for me 😊 also means I can update my figures...

    16/06/2020: £22,898.20
    30/06/2020: £19,135.25

Looking forward to the figures dropping again in July, even though I know it won't be as high, but looking at decreasing it around £500 each month, It will be nice to go into August less than £19000 though!

Haven't been keeping this up to date really as nothing remotely interesting or debt busting is happening in my life 😂

Still furloughed on 80% wage so can't really pay anything else extra off as my budget is already as tight as can be 🙈 but trying to stay positive...

My new regular debt repayments have all gone out this month though so I can update the total:

    New total: £18,631.25 🙈

Still huge but gradually going down! Be nice to be close to £18k after next month though!

Well I definitely didn't keep on top on documenting my debt free journey, but on the plus side I did keep on top of the actual debt busting so thought it'd be nice to log my progress 🙈

My total as of today is £13,565!!

    Which means I've payed a total of £9333.20 since 16/06/2020 😮

My original target was August 2023 but I want it cleared by December 2022...

I WILL BE DEBT FREE BY 2023!!

Thought I’d stop by to cheer you on, particularly for sticking to your debt busting as it takes a lot of determination and will power not to fall off the wagon. Well done and congrats on getting closer to your debt free date.

Edit: I’m a few days away from my debt-free date and it’s a funny feeling...I’ll be glad it’s all gone but being extremely goal-oriented I have to find another goal to focus on. Many former debt busters turn their attention to saving and I plan to do the same plus investing.
