Uswitch?

Is this company genuine or just trying to get me to switch to make commission? 
I am currently with British gas on energy plus boiler protection green june 2020
I put my details into uswitch and it says a massive saving to go with Eon fix online excusive v38.
I then went back and put my details in to say i was already on Eon fix online excusive v38  withe same details and it then said a big saving if i go with SSE online energy v2.
How can that be?

It's Ofgem's fault.  They assume you'll be rolled over to the expensive standard tariff when your fixed deal ends, so the saving is a mirage.  Just compare annual costs based on actual meter readings.

Un-hide suppliers which aren't "fufillable" (switch direct through Uswitch) - then look at prices instead of their recommendations.

All companies want to make money so it's no suprise that Uswitch defaults the filter onto suppliers which it can switch you to directly earning itself a bit of commission... it's not dodgy though, just a way to earn income to be able to offer it's services etc.
