What appliances can I put in a room with no heating?

I'm in the process of buying a house and there's a room which is basically a conservatory/lean to, with a plug socket in but no heating. I'm thinking of putting my laundry dryer in there - it's a condensation one - but I'm wondering if it would damage the appliance, keeping it in there? Eg, if there's damp in the room. I've heard that freezers and fridges shouldn't be put in rooms that can potentially get very cold.

As far as I'm aware, there shouldn't be a problem with having a condenser drier in such a room. In fact, I have my drier in my unheated garage where it's been operating perfectly for the past 15 years.

You can get freezers which are ok for garages or sheds but they say they are suitable for them. We bought one years ago to go in our shed as an extra freezer and had no problems.

I'm not planning on storing a lot of frozen stuff, so I'll be sticking with my regular freezer for now. But the kitchen is fairly small so it won't have room for everything.

My condenser drier, not a modern heat pump one has a cut off if its below 6C, and if the is any water left in pipes that won't be good if hits 0-C, As long as the house is always heated the should be a little heat?
