Mint Policy Numbers, date of issue and amounts but lost paperwork?!!

Hi Any help please!!!!
I put through for a loan and a credit card i had in 2002 from mint with RBS and I had some paperwork and was able to provide the policy numbers and amounts and when they were taken.  They cant find any information.  But I also sent a letter in November with copies of everything too, but they say they never received it yet all the other companies did! Anyway.  I was clearly through old paper work and I think my Mint paper work was in the Egg paperwork which I burnt, and now I want to cry and cant prove it!!  Is there anything I can do

    they're - 'they are'

RBS have credit card records going back to 2000 and loan information even further but what you must provide them with is the account numbers.   The policy numbers don’t usually help either unless you made a claim on them when the accounts were active which might have left a paper trail,  however what you can do is send SAR through RBS website.  Give them all your previous addresses, date of birth and the policy numbers just in case and see what it produces.  I know how you feel, I’m still crying about a loan document that my other half inadvertently disposed of twelve years ago !
