Business Bank Accounts, App based

Options
I'm looking to open a Business Bank Account,
Have noticed a lot of App based Business Bank Accounts which seem to look rather appealing but I'm open to a traditional Business Bank Account also.
I'm in the process of taking over a Small Business.
Are there any accounts that I can open without technically owning a business? As it's going to take a few weeks for this to happen, but I'd like to have an account beforehand.
I tried to speak to Yorkshire bank ( a couple of times in fact) But they weren't too sure I should apply.

It would be carnage if it was possible to open accounts in the name of a business without being an office-holder within that business!

Does their existing account not come with the business?

Edit: forgot to answer the question, Starling is usually mentioned in dispatches as a low-cost app-based business account....

Arr, nope, maybe I wasn't so clear, I'm buying a small business, so have to set up my own business account.

Starling have stopped Sole trading accounts for the time being. (Too popular)
Soldo, Monese, Coconut and Suitsme all seem to be of interest. Just wondered if anyone had any experience in this world. ..All very new to me you see.
I would be happy to go with Yorkshire, although each time I speak with somebody, it's "I don't know, I'm not sure" while asking simple questions as to how long it'd take to open an account etc ...beginning to think it maybe a sign.

We had three accounts with Nat West. We used the 'spare' one for our business originally but then opened a 'proper' business a/c with them as they were offering free banking for 2 (?) years
After the 2 years we applied to Starling but were declined as we were Ltd Co with equal shareholders. They relaxed the rules a few months later and now we have a proper business a/c with them and there are no charges.

You could also try Monzo, you may have to open a personal account first and then a business one after.

They can both be managed via the same app.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

Just be aware that for a sole trader account with Starling that your customers can only pay into your account using your personal name and not the name that you trade under.   They explain this as being required by the new confirmation of payee rules but as far as I am concerned because I operate as my business as B2B that my credibility is diminished as I am seen as a one-man band.  I confess that I am at the moment, but when competing against established businesses in my sector it is not great.

Will follow your decision with interest as currently thinking of using a high street name with free banking for at least a year and then re-visit Starling next year.
