Goes to these morons blocking a junction, try pulling out of the side street without putting your life in the hands of the gods ...

No yellow lines so could they have parked on the road? Which would have made the view even worse wouldn't it?

Drivers could look across the pavement/verge where the white car is now. and approaching traffic would see them to the left of the parked cars (if they were looking out for emerging traffic......)

There is of course, some advice in the Highway code about parking right next to a junction :)
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

And there's also the requirement about not parking across a dropped kerb. ;)

Plus, parking over a pavement is not a good idea.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

True, but neither appears to be.
One is on the grass verge, the other is partly on the verge and partly on the dropped driveway.

    From the Gov website:
    DO NOT stop or park:
opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space.

Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Yes, from the Highway code, rule 243. But DO NOT is not a legal requirement, unlike MUST NOT, which will reference the relevant legislation.

    Probably covered by this rule.

    242
You MUST NOT leave your vehicle or trailer in a dangerous position or where it causes any unnecessary obstruction of the road.

It's a raindrop on the windscreen distorting the image.
