Package holiday question (onthebeach.co.uk)

Hi all,
My family and I have a package holiday booked on the 13th July to Spain using onthebeach.co.uk flying with Ryanair. I have just checked the website of the hotel we are due to stay at and there is an update saying they are closed until at least the 14th July. Where would we stand in terms of them offering alternate dates etc? In all honesty none of us want to go abroad and we where thinking of cancelling (nearer the time) if the holiday was to go ahead anyway.

Thanks in advance

What does it say in the T&Cs about changes to your holiday?

You should also check up about cancellation charges if you choose to cancel.
Usually, the nearer you get to your departure date, the more you lose.
For example (based on TUI T&Cs)
70 days or more before travel: Loss of full deposit

69 - 63 days before travel: 30% of total booking price

62 - 49 days before travel: 50% of total booking price

48 - 29 days before travel: 70% of total booking price

28 - 15 days before travel: 90% of total booking price

14 - 0 days before travel: 100% of total booking pricex days before departure, you lose your deposit

But that ^^^^ is a true package holiday. I'm not sure that is what OTB provide.

    Take a look at this:

    Cancellations:

When you place an order on our website, our system will check availability and book your holiday directly with the airlines and hotel suppliers. Once you have made a payment and confirmed your booking this can happen in a matter of seconds.

We pay the airlines upfront and in full for your flights, regardless of whether you’re paying for your holiday via our deposit scheme. Most flights are unfortunately non-refundable with the airline and therefore in the event of a cancellation, we would not be able to recover any of the flight cost for you. This means whether you placed your order with us 5 minutes ago, or 5 months ago, you will still need to cover the cost of your flights in full.

Hotels are a little different as most will allow cancellations outside of a month of travel.  In the event of a cancellation, we do our best to recover as much of this cost for our customers as possible. Unfortunately, this is based on the individual policies of the hotels and suppliers and is not always in our control.
