Gladstone’s Solicitors PCN/Local Car Park Management

Hi. I received a PCN for parking at a private car park on 1st January 2020. I am pretty sure the meter was not working (I do not have proof) as there were other vehicles parked without a ticket. I received a PCN (attached) which I ignored. I have now received the below letter from Gladstone’s solicitors. Can anyone please advise?

Please remove those reference/ticket numbers RIGHT NOW!

PPCs and their fellow travellers have been known to trawl this forum to try and identify posters in ways that have come back to haunt them later.

Also, you need to get this moved to the appropriate sub-forum - parking tickets, as you will get no meaningful help here. PMing  a board guide will sort that.

You also badly need to read the Newbies Sticky in that forum before you dig yourself into a deeper hole as ignoring tickets stopped being a reliable way of dealing with them some years ago when the law changed.

And you also need to make sure this is in the correct board ... you've posted this in Motoring not Parking.

im in the same boat. seems like they are sending out chain letters regarding parking tickets. mine was from 2018 and i got a letter today !!!

They aren't getting much income currently cos no one has been parking so they are chasing debts. Let's hope they go bust.
