Air Bricks

We live in a bungalow and in the winter get mould on a North East facing bedroom wall mostly at the top.  Not a huge amount and is fairly easy to clean with Lakeland mould remover spray.  However, I was looking outside the other day and near the bottom of both the north and east facing walls there are 3 bricks one above each other which look just like the airbricks have been removed and replaced with the bricks.  We have a concrete floor - would we benefit from having the airbricks put back in?  Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you have cavity walls or solid walls. Either way installing an Airbrick will help with airflow and ventilation and thus reduce mould. The mould could be caused by condensation as well.

Airbrick to ventilate what? The room or the underfloor space? If the latter, 3-bricks size looks too big. If the former, AFAIK it's needed only for a fireplace.

To try to reduce the mould.  I perhaps did not make it clear.  There are 3 bricks in a row one above the other so I think there are 2 extra.
