UCAS application and listing schools problem

My daughter attended 3 diff schools during yr11 and is now worrying about what to put on her UCAS application about it.
In the last few weeks of yr10 my daughter became a school refuser. This isn't truancy, it's where the child becomes too frightened to attend, usually due to unmet SEN or in this case bullying though we were unaware of this at the time.
She returned to her school  (school A) in Sept of yr11  but hid herself away in an inclusion room. Knowing this couldn't continue she was put on a managed move to another school (school B) in early Oct. This is where you go to another school whilst remaining an official pupil at your old school. After so many weeks you become a pupil at your new school or return to your old. In late Nov this fell through following an incident about undone homework. School B got rid of her with immediate effect Too frightened to return to her official school she was at home for the rest of that calendar year with some home study sent through from school A whilst we explored other options for schooling.
In Jan she started at another school (school C) again on  a managed move but on the understanding that she would remain an official student at school A until she took her GCSEs that summer. Within a couple of days school C suggested she attend part-time as she was quite traumatised. She attended 3 full and 2 part days each week. Her official school (school A) paid for private tutoring in core subjects and I put this in place on the afternoons she didn't attend.
In the summer she sat and passed her GCSEs on school Cs premises. I had to chase both school A & C for where the certificates had got to, when we got them school C is listed on them, though she officially was school A's pupil. I'm guessing it's due to the centre number used/daughter wrote down.
Throughout this she was under CAMHS as she had suicidal ideation due to the bullying which was widespread and verbal. I was CC'd in a copy CAMHS sent to our GP that put the issues down to bullying. I put in a huge complaint in to the chair of Governors school A as she finished her GCSEs over their handling of the situation including not sticking to their own policies and to Government legislation. They implemented some changes as a result. I have this correspondance.
Daughter is now 17, hugely better with her mental health and  just finishing her first year of college and starting her UCAS application. She says she has to list the schools she's attended, month and years and is worrying about how it looks that she attended 3. They also ask if she attended full or part time. She was part time for the last 6 months and thinks that looks bad toot  I would tel her to just put school A as she was their official pupil throughout but her GCSE certificates say school C on them.
Can anyone help with what to say on the form? Thank you.

  • I would just tell the truth, that is much better than fudging the issue to make it 'look better'.

If the certificates say one thing and the form says another, that would look odd if anyone checked (which is very unlikely, but could happen in theory)

Who sees the info just UCAS or the places she applies to?
  • Only UCAS can see who else the candidate has applied to, but as far as I am aware all the institutions can see everything else on the form. Only the course choices/institutions are redacted.
