Barlcays Valuation

Hello - anybody applied for a mortgage with Barlcays recently and had their valuation? What was the wait time please? Just curious how long other people have waited. Thank you!

  • We are remortgaging at the moment with Barclays with a desktop valuation,  It has taken 4 months and still not completed!!
  • Our buyer is with Barclays. Physical valuation instructed in March, then lockdown! We finally got a phone call to book it in three weeks ago, valuation happened seven days later, and offer was issued two weeks after that.

Started my application on the 9th March. Hell of a ten weeks..this was with barclays it's been a real nightmare.
Valuation was done today so I'm waiting like yourself..I seem to be annoying my broker by contacting him and has told me it could be another 10 days..

Our valuation was instructed on Sunday but still no date booked in for it. Not sure why it takes so long to book a date in!

Started a remortgage back in February, scheduled to complete by end of June.  They just did a desktop on our property which valued it way lower than it's actually worth but we don't care as our LTV is so low. The worst part has been their conveyancers, who are rubbish!

Valuation has been booked in for next week now, so hopefully we aren't waiting long after that!

They were very slow for me and very difficult to get accurate information out of so you never really know where it’s at or whether what they’ve told you is correct or not. I had to chase a lot but I got mine through not long after they started physical valuations again. I also managed to changed the product the same day they gave me the offer too and they’ve issued the offer quickly. No idea what causes the delays with them.
