Renewing photocard licence?

My photocard expires next week and I'm assuming I can't renew it online because I don't have a UK passport. (In fact my British (Isle of Man) passport needs renewing too).
I thought I saw a thread on here a few days ago saying that DVLA had announced an extension for photocards during Covid, but I can't find that thread now and I can't see anything on DVLA site either. Can anybody tell me if this is right or point me in the right direction please?

You're right that only a UK passport-holder can renew the photocard online, so your non-UK passport means you need to do it by paper.

ThanksYes - but has there been an extension for licences expiring during... the current pandemic? If I can leave it a couple of months or so I'd prefer to. I thought I'd seen a thread on here saying there was an extension but can't find anything. Thought it had been fred246(?) but can't see it...EDIT: If I have to do it next week I'll do it at a post office that does electronic renewal. There is one near me and I presume I don't need a passport so long as I have the current photocard. Do you happen to know if that's right? It seems to be from what I've read online.0

Thanks Adrian.Pity that page isn't clearly linked to on the renewal page - unless I've missed it.EDIT: Unless I'm being spectacularly thick - always a possibility! - it isn't mentioned under the Driver & Trasportation section of the Corona virus Guidance and Support either. Useless.0

So yes, just turn up with your licence and they'll take your photo and send it off for you.Edit: Good luck signing your signature though with that stupid electronic pen. It took me about 10 attempts because the tip kept retracting inside the pen.
