Tried twice to create one of these but web pages stopped working at crucial points. Was attracted by relatively cheap costs as planning to just keep a few funds over a long term .
Should I just give and use someone else? If their techies can't write stable code to let you create an account, how will it be when you actually need to manage your money?

Iweb is their discount version and cheaper. Been loggin in few times during this week, no issues at all. The platform is imho better than HL. Deals get confirmed more quickly, well, they don't have an app and stuff like that, it's no frills but excellent value for money esp. over the long term. Only regular small-ish investments would be expensive.

Another option is nutmeg for cheap costs and availability of an app to track easily0

I transferred to Iweb a year ago and am very happy with them. I don't trade often, and they suit me well. Saved me a fair bit in charges too.0

It's another vote for iweb from me. Saved me a lot of money moving to them & their no frills platform suits me just fine.
But do check out Albermarle's link as it depends on what sums are involved before deciding on the most cost effective platform for you.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.1
