Seiss and Universal Credit

I submitted my earnings today to Universal Credit website and was surprised to find as I received just over £1,500 under the self employed grant last month I'm not due any UC this month. Does anyone know how long this would go on for? Is it until the grant is paid back? Never realised before!

They've taken a deduction for this month but that amount won't affect next month's payment. And if it is the SEISS I'm fairly sure that doesn't need to be repaidlaurajane110 said:I submitted my earnings today to Universal Credit website and was surprised to find as I received just over £1,500 under the self employed grant last month I'm not due any UC this month. The SEISS grant doesn't have to be repaid back. The grant affects the amount of UC you're entitled to in the month it's received and will reduce it by 63% for every £1 you earn, if you don't have the work allowance. If you claim the next SEISS grant then that will also affect your UC in the same way this one has.0

The SEISS is treated in the same way as if you had earned the money from work. That was fairly clear from the start of the scheme. Given the amount of your grant it will not affect any further UC payments.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
