Garage brick wall advice + extra skin/guttering

Hi All,
My garage is a fairly large building but never had a proper frontage, originally it was infilled with breeze block and an old small wooden door.
Fast forward to last year and i demolished the infilled breeze block and set out to rebuild the front suitable for a proper garage door. Instead of filling in the gap again and matching up new bricks to old tired painted bricks on the side pillars we did the front skin tied to the pillars to give the whole front a fresh look then the second skin continued behind between the pillars. An RSJ was sourced cheaply and all completed on a relatively low budget.
Obviously we couldn’t go all the way to the top due to the roof so the guttering sits the same width out above the brick, this isn’t an issue and just needs tidying up probably new facias & gutters to complete.

Questions i’m looking for advice on.
1 - What should i finish off the top of the bricks with? I don’t think it’s ideal they’re sat exposed to any potential rain water running into the wall from the top.
2 - The bricks are quite patchy since being built, i think this was a combination of random weather when the wall was being built. What’s the best way to clean them up? I’ve not attempted just a pressure washer yet but i’d like to be prepared if there’s something that will help and i can get it all done at once.
3 - Obviously the RSJ needs covering up to finish the front off. My idea was secure wood studs into the RSJ and build out level with the front of the bricks then use some wood for a facia board just bigger than the opening to cover it all off then painted. Is there any other way recommended to finish it off nice?
Thanks!
