It seems you spent 6 months contacting the agent. At what point did you write to the ladlord at the address provided?At what poit did you contact Environmenta Health?At what point did you follow the process for undertaking repairs yourself (see jon81uk)?6 months is a long time to let this carry on.As for your legalclaim, as others have said you will need to qantify, with evidence, your actual financial loss. For example, if you were paying a gym or other esablishment in order to take showers, and have receipts for this, you might be able to claim those costs (assuming the LL did not argue you were already a gym member and therefore incurred no extra cost).My advice is to focus on getting the repairs done.1
