Etihad Travel Vouchers 50% Extra

Just wondering if anyone has purchased or is looking into the Etihad travel vouchers where you get 50% extra is you buy them before the 24th June 2020?
You can use within 2 years so I guess they could be good value (if you plan to go long haul)
I'm wondering if we buy on a credit card will we be covered if anything goes wrong? But also If we exchange the vouchers for flights will and something goes wrong, will we be bottom of the list for a refund??
Anyone got any thoughts?

Debating the same! Very tempting but what's the catch?0

It's a common method used by businesses to raise some much-needed cash - you're loaning them the money on the understanding you'll be able to use it later for a trip.
The catch is you'll need to book direct (so no discounts via online travel agents etc) but that's about it - book with a CC and you should be well protected.0 -
OPCons :- Etihad was posting enormous losses, even before the coronavirusPros :- Its owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi. If you're confident that the Abu Dhabi Government will carry on (absolutely) pouring money down the Etihad plughole, then getting the travel vouchers is a good idea. Alternatively, if you think that the risk is to high, keep your money in your pocket.0
