Washing Machine, two years old, worn bearings - refund, no warranty.

I bought an Indesit (IWC71452) Washing Machine from Currys PC World in June of 2018 and it has recently started to sound like the bearings have worn out on the drum. The model cannot be dismantled to replace the bearings as the bearings come with the drum and tub complete - £200. The model to buy new is about £250. The exact model is still available to buy at Currys.
I did not take out a warranty as I believe a machine should last a reasonable five years or more and this is only two years old at around two uses per week.
Do I contact the supplier or the manufacturer in this case?
Do I stick a chance getting a full or partial refund?

You contact currys you bought from them not the manufacturer.

Id say slim to no chance of getting a refund.

It's Currys that you have to contact.
As the appliance is more than 6 months old, they have the right to ask you to prove that the fault is due to a manufacturing defect, something that may not be easy to do. If they do agree to a remedy, they can refund and this can be a partial refund to cover the 2 years use you have had from the machine.
It's a fairly low end appliance so I wouldn't expect 5+ problem free years from it.
A new one is currently £190 in Currys

If they do refund, I wouldn't be surprised if they only offer £40 or £50, maybe even less.

    As Shel posted contact Currys.

But agree 2 yr old indesit, no refund etc. Might get something off new model ?

Currys selling at £190. Argos selling at £180. Or go for something more reliable.

Thanks guys. I think that was my take on it but thought I would put the question out there for a few opinions.
Interesting there is a ten year parts guarantee on it but the labour is so high you might as well buy a new machine!
