Following the recent data breach are we entitled to compensation EU regulations

Were you one of the few thousand who had card details stolen, or one of the millions who had basic details stolen? If the latter, absolutely not unless you can prove a material loss because of it.1

According to their e-mail my card details were compromised - so far nobody has used it improperly.
So for a couple of seconds a day checking the balance (and to see if Easy Jet have refunded my flights yet) what have I lost.
You could join a class action against them - I have seen adverts on Facebook - but don't expect it to go anywhere.
The only time you can take action is you can prove that your card has been used illegally DUE TO THIS BREACH (and not through any other process). Good luck with that.1 -
