Leasing question (Lease4Less)

Hi all, this might just be me being cynical but I'm currently having a very up and down experience with Lease4Less, I submitted an online application for a car back on the 29th May and I had to chase them to get an acknowledge and any movement on this.
Went ahead and they sent me the order form etc which was wrong due to the seemingly weird way they shuffle money around with them taking £500 then refunding £200 of it and then Audi contributing £845 and so forth. Anyway they acknowledged their error and amended this and so I went ahead and signed.
It's been almost 3 weeks since that, they have no taken a deposit from me nor have they proceeded with the identity check, but they assure me the car HAS been ordered with the dealer/factory and the finance element of it is just taking a long time due to the finance company having a ton of agreements to process.
My previous lease car I was told outright until the finance documents were issued, signed and funding was in place that the vehicle couldn't be ordered with the factory in case i backed out, so the cynic in me is wondering if the car has actually been ordered. They assure me it has but so far getting any communication from them is proving tricky at best.
Thanks
