Loveholidays impossible to contact and they have my money from TUI

Do not give up. Tui will definately refund Love Holidays. My holiday was due 10-24 June. After informing TUI, I required a refund, using their appropriate code, I received processing details from Love Holidays and was informed refund due in approx 30 days. Now waiting with baited breath!!!!!! Start with Tui, ensuring you do not want vouchers, and proceed from there. The process is painfull, and is still ongoing in my case. I've been at it for 8 weeks. Best Wishes and Good Luck.1

You do realise that they is a HUGE backlog of court cases at this time , 37 weeks and rising swiftly as cases build up

Just to update you. Today we received a refund from Loveholidays for the amount of £300 which was for the flights we booked for my stepson. This was booked at the same time as our holiday to the same hotel as we couldn’t get a room big enough and needed to book two separate bookings. That £300 was what TUI refunded to Loveholidays for the flight. This refund was sent at the exact same time as my refund as I got the email from TUI on the same day. Funny how Loveholidays have the refunded the smaller amount of £300 to me instead of the £900 they owe me. May be coincidence but if I don’t receive a refund in the next couple of days then there’s definitely something rotten in Denmark.0

Still absolutely nothing from Loveholidays. 4 days ago they refunded the £300 to my stepson. They have still got the £800 they owe me even though TUI refunded both my stepsons money and at the same time. I have emailed twice. Got through on live chat 3 times and regardless of the stated queue time I have not spoke to anyone. Has anyone else actually managed to speak to anyone at Loveholidays?0

Hi!
To get my flight refund from Loveholidays took approx 10 weeks in total; well flight and holiday. TUI had to send me a refund credit code i then had to ask TUI for a refund online. This refund had to then go to Loveholidays who send an email saying they will be in touch about three weeks later i got an email with a dedicated phone number(NIGHTMARE) took at least 10 days to get through.
automated call basically press one to accept their refund terms and conditions or two to decline.About another two weeks got email to say refund payed back into account within 5 days and flight email refund about a week after that. but got every penny back!!!
Just so so so bl**dy frustrating i have another holiday with them i am trying to sort both booked around same time but their customer service is utterly abysmal and even if i get all my cash back i will NEVER EVER use them again.

Just got notification of hotel part of the first holiday being refunded so not too bad a timeframe .Browntoa said:My understanding is that they have a small team , all currently working from home hence the turning off of phone lines and limiting online chat as staff cannot do chat and process refunds at the same time .
I agree that hey have been getting a hammering on here and I have 2 loveholidays bookings myself , 1 just cancelled and another later in the year. They were prompt with the cancellation email and I am awaiting a call about refund options.
My point is that I'm assuming they get perhaps 5000 flight refunds en masse a day which then have to be identified and assigned to a customer and that is a day on day event. People really need to be realistic in their expectations of timeframes for refund processing
I hear they have begun taking on a huge number of customer service staff so maybe that is denting the backlog finallyEx forum ambassador
