My daughter is ill and I would really love to fly over to Scotland even for the day to see her as she is in lockdown up there. Is this allowed or possible ?

Where are you? Do you need to fly? Could you drive?

Not a good idea to visit anyone with covid 19

Scotland is closed, we may get a better idea tomorrow as first minister giving update on Phase 2.

    Fly from where?
According to the OP down a bit and over a bit?

If OP does come back and says from where? Then the question of allowed or possible may be answered.

Have you read the FCO advice at all?   The short answer is no.

Hmm...the phrase 'fly over' rather rules out the OP coming from England or Wales, so I'm guessing that crossing water is involved. N. Ireland, Eire or possibly somewhere in Western Europe? The plot thickens...
missile, the OP said their daughter was ill, not that she was ill with COVID-19.

Scotland is not closed, what utter nonsense and scaremongering.
I have been down to England four times during the lockdown.
My last return trip was on a BA Flight from LHR to GLA just over a week ago.
