SEISS eligibility

Hi there,
This is probably a stupid question, but I'm just trying to work out what counts for SEISS eligibility for the 2nd grant. If work has been postponed (in my case, until the following year) rather than cancelled, does this count as your business being adversely affected? I have a lot of work that was due to happen after the 14th July this year, but has been delayed until next summer, so I've not lost out on the work completely, I just have to wait a year. Am I still eligible to claim the second grant?

Many thanks for any help!

A year is a long way away. You can't be certain that you will get all the work next year that you would have got this year, and you would presumably have got other work next year that you won't be able to do if you are still catching up. Unless you are going to work double time next year, I would argue that you meet the "adversely affected" test.

You have been adversely affected because you are not going to get that income for this year (which means your profits for this year are down, which in turn means you have less to live on).
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
