Agree with all of the above. As I said earlier, I have told the EA we will not entertain this unless some sort of legal professional is involved.

No response yet. What response do you expect? This is a conspiracy to defraud your mortgage lender. And you want to involve a lawyer!AJC1998 said:Agree with all of the above. As I said earlier, I have told the EA we will not entertain this unless some sort of legal professional is involved.

Anyway, you'd better read the sentencing guidelines.

You do realise that you can do jail time just for conspiracy, without going ahead?
Actually, on second thoughts, is this a wind-up?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -

I can assure you it isn't. I think it stems from an EA worried about losing a chain of house moves that they are getting a fair bit of commission on.eidand said:This is really weird. an EA would not risk playing such games. Feels like a made-up situation tbh
Anyway as if by magic, we have had a mortgage offer accepted, so are good to go the original route. A huge relief. Not that we were ever going to go down the route of anything illegal.
Thanks for everyones advice guys.2
