sequestration scotland tax self assessment

Hi,
I was sequestrated in 2018- discharged over 7 months ago now. It all happened as I was very ill and unable to work, made redundant due to ill health etc.  I thought I was getting everything back to normal, however, I have been asked to complete a tax self assessment form for the year I was sequestrated. I've never had to do a self assessment before- I've only ever been an employee- for most of my life with the NHS. I have to do a paper form and it seems like it's designed for people who are self employed or had dividends and other sources of income- I can't actually see any of it being applicable to me- in fact,  I can't even see a section where I fill in what my income was- there's nothing about employment (and surely they would know my earnings from my employment as I paid tax?).
Does anyone know if this is a normal thing to do so far after being sequestrated? And is it right that I'm essentially returning a blank form?
Thanks

maybe worth calling them, it may have been done in error, last thing you want is to be on self assessment on a ongoing basis (would be easy to get a dime for late filing say)
