Since the Covid disruption began, typically how much notice have people had of their BA flight being cancelled?
Thanks!

I had one cancelled today for 2 July (long haul). So just over 2 weeks notice. They did a lot for the whole of July today. Got through eventually on the phone for my refund.
  • I just called BA 20 minutes ago about a flight on 29 July. They said they will cancel it three weeks before on 8 July. As it's one where I owe the rest of the deposit, the helpline advisor told me that 8 July is also the new deadline for paying the rest of the fare. This is to be fair to everyone: so even though the system says I should have paid by 10 June that's wrong, hasn't been updated and this new date is to allow BA to make a final decision as near as possible to travel time. So he told me to call back on 7/8 July and assuming nothing changes (Canada doesn't want tourists this summer regardless of what the UK government says) I will be able to get my deposit back as cash then.
