Hey! I am in the same situation! What number did you use to get through to VCS?? Did you call them during the pandemic or before this? I used both numbers advertised on their website but had no luck due to the virus! I’d be grateful if you could help!?

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Hi, the number I used was 01142617373. I too was having issues getting through to anyone because of the pandemic it wasn’t giving me any options to speak to someone on the automated service. But in the end I selected option one I believe which was for their sales and figured they’d make that line a priority since it would make them money and sure enough I got straight through to someone there.

Who knows, perhaps they have not read the newbies, done any research, never heard of google,  bunked off at school, shopped at Brighthouse.  We are not dealing with Waitrose customers here.  rre
