For garden use - metal tubing / thick wire that can be bent

Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what material I can use to create some plant supports for the garden. I am thinking something like this: https://www.ukgardensupplies.co.uk/acatalog/Peony_Support.html#a2438
As you can see at £26.00 for just one large, heavy duty version I am looking for a way to save money as I need to about 7 - 8!
I need something that will not corrode too much when left outside all year round, but that can be bent and shaped using household DIY tools and brute strength.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Copper tubing can easily be soldered. Depending on the diameter, it will also bend without too much effort. The alternative is stainless steel rod - 3mm would be quite stiff. 4mm or even 5mm if you want something rigid. Have a look in your local yellow pages for steel stockholders (Smiths Metals have several branches dotted around the country). Soft soldering stainless steel needs an aggressive acid based flux, but I prefer welding or silver soldering the stuff.EssexExile said: Microbore copper pipe?
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
