Harassment from SKY

I left Sky TV over 18 months ago, but every week to a fortnight I receive a letter from them with their latest deals, which I send back with a note asking them to remove me from their mailing list, but they continue to contact me. Now post can easily be shredded and discarded but that is not the only way that they contact me, they telephone me at the very least every month and usually when I am sitting down to eat dinner!  I have asked them politely and I have used my 'sternest' voice asking them to stop calling me and to remove my name from their database, but nothing appears to work.  I have even tried to block their telephone number, but somehow they still get through.  Aside from moving house and changing my telephone number, does anybody have any suggestions?!

I had same issue but with SKY protect (insurance for old HD box)
i opted out of all marketing but they kept sending me mailshots every 2 months. I rang them up said they were breaking the law they agreed i'd opted out and gave an apology. 

i said I wanted compensation or i'd take it further and mentioned GDPR.

2 weeks later they sent me a £20 cheque with a written apology.

no mailshots in last 6 months
