Difference in tariffs between Cheap Energy Club and actual providers website.

I did an energy comparison through the cheap energy club.  The quote that I looked at was Shell - but when I also checked their own website there was a big difference in the tariff details of what was advertised. For example on the energy club the daily standard charge was 14.81 but on shells website it was 36.49, which is more than double.  If I did the switch through the energy club does anyone know if I am guaranteed to get the tariff prices that are advertised???  I don't want to switch then get massively stung due to incorrect prices being publicised.

You were probably not looking at the same tariff...

A lot of the energy companies will have very similarly named tariffs but will put something like 'exclusive' or 'switch' in the name of the one they offer through the switching sites.

So with some suppliers you can only get their cheapest tariffs through one of those sites.

BOTH tariffs are named Energy August 2021

Shell price includes a Google nest Hub .

You can start the switch and cancel if problems .
