I have got a Barclaycard which I currently use for BT. I have a large amount that is due to end August. With being furloughed I will struggle to pay off in full. I have another credit card with no balance on it and was thinking of paying the balance with this and then doing another BT to Barclaycard when the bill can through. Has anyone done this before.
You can look at the eligibility checkers to see if you qualify for another balance transfer card - some might offer a short period of transfer like Aqua or Capital One, however the limits they offer may be lower -if you do manage to get a transfer arranged - you’ll then have to pray that your original provider offered the facility again. The likelihood would be that they wouldn’t though. You’re probably going to have to take a detailed look at your expenditure to see what you can trim in order to get that balance down.
