Locating owner of private property

Hi,
On the left hand side of our garden, we have a couple of neighbours at right-angles to us where the rear of their gardens backs onto our left hand fence.
One of the neighbours has some leylandii tress which are starting to seriously overhang our garden and as we're having an extension done, they really need to be cut back. However, the branches start at about 4m high and are quite inaccessible from our side of the fence as we are around 2m lower than our neighbours.
The people living there are privately renting and are being less than helpful when we've asked for the contact details of the property owners. I've tried the Land Registry and paid the £3 to get the title deeds but it shows the property address as the owners address so I'm kind of stuck.
Does anyone know of any resources I can access that might give me the contact details of the owners?
Thanks in advance.

Type in house for rent NAME OF ROAD into your browser, see what pops up, hopefully it will show the agents and old advert.
Alternative option is to write a letter to the landlord and ask them to contact you.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Why not send a letter to the address in question and make it as for the attention of the property owners.
The tenant should hopefully pass it on to the owners.
You could also try contacting the local council and asking to view the open version of the electoral register which may show the owner's name if they are still registered there. (although I've no idea what sort of restrictions there will be due to Covid) and if you can get a name, proceed as above and send a letter addressed to them at the property.

If land registry shows the property owners at that address, at least you have a name. With that try LinkedIn, facebook, twitter insta.....google.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
