Virgin Media Sky Sports Pause money taken (June 2020)

I had Sky Sports Pause applied to my VM TV package but still had to ring them each month as the £22 credit was not showing on my bill. Despite doing this for the May 2020 bill and assured that a Credit will be applied, they have today taken the excess £22 by direct debit. Managed to ring them and they said the Cr was applied on 2 Jun 2020 after the bill was printed on 22 May 2020 and will now come through on next months bill. Strange that despite a clear 14 day gap between Cr being applied and money taken today it did not work? Presume this has affected other forum members too, please check your payments
