    They've already bought the isofix seat, though. MSE would be to fit the part if it's cheaper than the replacement seat.

    MSE would be seeing if it can be exchanged for the correct one.

    An IsoFix seat is generally easier to fit correctly and should fit in any car that has IsoFix fittings.  A seat belt restrained seat is much easier to make a dog's dinner of fitting, and therefore unsafe, and often has to be more carefully selected as there are many "no fit possible" scenarios.
