I wonder if someone could advise how to fix the damp patch in the picture below, please. I live in Stevenage, Herts in a mid terraced house (brick walls).

Assume this was after a period of heavy rain. We have had it after heavy rain and a strong wind. It was caused by a small gap / hole in the window sealant on the outside.1

Could be a few things sealant round window as mentioned ,gaps in pointing to brickwork ,blocked gutter or missing /damaged roof slateif you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction1

Hi everyone, I hope you're well. Thank you for the answers, I've just noticed them today, looking to sort out this problem. I attach an outside view, my roof downpipe has not been cleaned in 8 years and rain water is dripping from the top as in the attached picture. Could this be causing the problem, please? Thank you very much for your time.

Could be the felt has started to go at the eaves.1

That guttering certainly needs sorting and they can look at that area of the roof at the same time. Find a reputable roofer (but not using the "myspanner" type trade sites)Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.0
