Using WISH online shopping

Options
I ordered items , thankfully not very expensive. I was given a four week delivery time, however every week when the delivery is due, the date is put back a week. There is no way to contact them. Is this a scam? Even if it is not I think it should be avoided.

I get this in my fb feed, would never buy it but know people that have. It's Chinese tat as hollydays says. Is sent slowest mail from China so can take months. You have no consumer rights as it's Chinese company. It's not a scam

The product descriptions rarely resemble the actual product that you receive
They are cheap for a reason

Nothing wrong with Wish as long as you don't have the expectation that something will turn up quickly.  Its great for the likes of phone cases etc.

I've brought bits in the past from Wish, if you don't mind waiting for a couple of months for them to be delivered. Yes it is tat, but the few bits of clothing I have brought has lasted ok (similar to a primark purchase). A bag that I bought was what I wanted - something cheap and lightweight that held a water bottle, some snacks etc for a day exploring a new city and I wouldn't be too sad if I lost it. Don't have too high expectations and I think you can contact Wish if you something doesn't arrive for a refund.
Thanks to money saving tips and debt repayments/becoming debt free I have been able to work and travel for the last 4 years visiting 12 countries and working within 3 of them. Currently living and working in Canada

Only spend what you can afford to lose, and take any good products as a win and any bad ones as part of the risk.
Slow shipping from China isn't a new thing - between 4 and 6 weeks is about average, but the current situation may make this slightly longer.
