I have car insurance with Quote Me Happy, which expires at the end of August. I have probably driven about 30 miles since March - my cover says that I drive about 8,000. I am debating what to do with my car insurance:
1) Do nothing. Just carry on paying the premium.
2) Cancel the premium and just use my bike to cycle everywhere.
3) Something else? I was reading about "Laid up" cover (not really sure what it is). However, Quote Me Happy do not offer it as described here: https://www.quotemehappy.com/coronavirus-support
I would be interested to hear what other people have done/are doing. I would normally just contact the insurance company, however I believe you have to contact them by email.
Also, so I have to tell them that my driving habits have changed i.e. I am now using the car less? This website implies I do if I am no longer commuting i.e. working from home: https://www.comparethemarket.com/car-insurance/coronavirus/
