As if it makes any difference whether the milk goes in first or last!
You might be surprised.  Scalded milk is a thing: heat it above about 70º C and you get nasty smells.

You sometimes notice this in bad cafes where your cappuccino or cafe-latte might smell a bit 'eggy' because the staff over-heated the milk.

I don't buy/make tea as a rule... but have been known to make the odd cup over the years in the house of others.... it's always one cup or two, so:
Bag in the mug, sugar in, boiling water, stir, squidge it against the side, squeeze it, stir, give it another squidge, bag out/in the bin, milk.  Sugar is sometimes optionally added at the end, not the start, because I've never made it so often that I've got a routine.

The important bit of tea is milk NEVER.

NEVER, milk is wrong in everything but especially tea.

Maybe goat milk if you really really need it. But then just drink something else that goes good with milk.

I agree. I have a slice of lemon in mine.

If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
