Jd Williams redress scam ...help ?

Just received a letter from JD Williams who rejected my ppi complaint but upheld my plevin claim in 2018. Cheque received and spent ! 
The letter states “prior to concluding all ppi activity (following the fca imposed deadline for claims) we completed a final review of your complaint, and we identified that you are owed additional redress.
  All they require is for me to confirm that all my details are still correct. If it’s correct just e mail with the ref on the letter saying I confirm my details are correct.
It’s a genuine letter ...email address appears genuine customerredress@nbrown.co.uk...

Thoughts ? I haven’t asked them to reload at my case ... does this happen often ???

Will await your responses please before I respond ...don’t want to be scammed. ???

    Sounds fine.  And there's no harm in confirming your details are unchanged.

    They're not 'reloading' your case.  It's just that they've identified a procedural error.
