Barclays online banking

I had a normal current account with barclays and a basic. I had online banking where I could access both accounts .
Since the OR office has informed Barclays of my bankruptcy I've not been able to access my online banking. Does anyone else have online banking with the basic account or is it not allowed?

Hi,Its a simple fact that Barclays are just not Bankrupcy freindly, it will be unfrozen at some point, but its more than likely you will be asked to take your buisness elsewhere. You should open a new basic account with a more enlightened bank, Nationwide basic account, Lloyds basic account, Coop cashminder, are three that spring to mind who are insolvency/bankrupcy freindly, or Monzo, they take anyone, and you get a contactless card.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I went with barclays after seeing it recommended on this forum. That's frustrating if I'll have to change banks again

Call the insolvency team, they will just close your normal account when you’re on the phone and then allow you online banking again. The exact same thing happened to me but the actual insolvency team are really helpful.
Its 03450757475 and you want option 3
the normal frontline staff don’t know enough about insolvency1
