land registry /house prices

I am trying to find the price of a house that sold 5 years ago.It isnt showing as a sold price ,can you request that the price of your house isnt made public knowledge on websites like Rightmove.i thought all this info was collected from Land Registry.

Have you searched the land registry site itself? Sometimes the information is on the land reg site but doesnt transfer over to the property portals.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. A property we sold 4 years ago has never appeared on the LR sold prices website. It still says last sold 2006. No idea why as it was a standard purchase with mortgage! The title shows the sale and new owner but some houses just seem to never show up.1
