Spreadsheet for budgeting a major home project?

Hi
Is there a spreadsheet where we can input estimates and monitor actual costs to manage an upcoming extension project? The builder will give us a detailed list with estimates but we need to decide on fittings and furnishings (from bathroom sets to sofa cushions and flower vases) and we don't want the whole thing to get out of control. 
I thought I should check here before creating one myseslf.

For me I haven't used a spreadsheet, just budgeted for all the major jobs, eg CH ,rewiring, plastering, decorating and furnishings, then added an amount , if the total is below that then great.

Personally I would make a simple Excel spreadsheet.  It would likely be that anything online would necessitate you removing a lot of irrelevant detail.
