Being savvy with your credit cards. What do you do?

I have 3 credit cards and I pay them all off in full every month using direct debit. I only use credit cards that pay cashback and effectively use them like a debit card.0

Absolutely everything I buy, especially online, will be paid for with a credit card. If my card details are stolen/cloned, and the card gets used, then it's the bank's problem to sort out. If my debit card gets cloned, then I'm going to know about it very quickly, as my bank account gets emptied. That's far more a pain in the !!!!!! to sort out, and potentially leave me without money, for a while.RobM99 said:I only have the one, use it only for bigger purchases for the Section 75 cover, then pay it up straight away.
Personally I don't see the point of using a credit card much. I appreciate some do, just not my "thang"!3 -
I put all my spending on them and pay them off in full via direct debit. I am careful, all my spending is managed in YNAB, so I only spent what I can afford.
I also take advantage of 0% purchase cards where appropriate. Or balance transfers. Again, I treat it as a 0% loan, I make payments on schedule every month and pay it all of in time.

Have 2 cards, Amex for cashback and Zero for overseas use and when Amex not accepted. I will time big spends to max the interest free period and always pay off in full by DD. It used to be worth paying the Amex manually day before due date to keep the money earning interest in my current account, but much less of a thing now!
Almost never use debit cards and cash very rare these days for obvious reasonsThe force is strong in this one!1
