Insuring a newly built Annex

Hi,
We have built an annex, it is not connected to the house it is 4 foot away, we are struggling to find anyone to insure the house and the Annex, it will be used for a family member, not rented out, can anyone help please?

A good insurance broker will be able to sort it out.

Mine is insured with Adrian flux, and previous to that home protect

careful with adrian flux, they have alot of extra charges in their T+C, be aware of what your signing up"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

My guess would be that outbuildings are considered as building not for occupation.
